The Our Ocean Youth Leadership Summit was held alongside the 9th Our Ocean Conference in Athens, with the objective of empowering young leaders to engage with critical global challenges related to Marine Protected Areas, the Sustainable Blue Economy, the Climate–Ocean Nexus, Maritime Security, Sustainable Fisheries, and Marine Pollution. The summit focused on strengthening youth leadership through education, employability, and sustainable practices, with dedicated attention to upskilling and reskilling initiatives. Educational pathways in STEM, marine sciences, and sustainable resource management were promoted to equip young people with the knowledge and competencies needed to contribute effectively to marine conservation and ocean sustainability.

DOTANK Plus supported the strategic planning and coordination of the Youth Leadership Summit, contributing to agenda development, thematic alignment, and coordination across stakeholders and participating youth groups.
